Our story
25 years on Marshall St
Small-town outfitter, big-store selection. Established 2000, celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2025.
Twenty-five years ago we opened our doors at 123 Marshall Street, and we've been behind the same counter ever since. Not a franchise, not a big-box chain — just a shop in a small town, run by people who hunt, fish, shoot and trap the same ground you do.
What's grown in that time is the depth. Guns and ammunition, a full archery department with a bow tech on site, a tackle wall that covers open water and ice, and trapping supplies most stores around here don't bother with. Buy, sell and trade is still how a lot of folks get started. Layaway's still on the table. And the service department — gunsmithing, cleaning, bow tuning and string work — happens right here in the building, not off in some warehouse.
We're proud to serve Litchfield and the whole surrounding country — Hillsdale, Jonesville, Quincy, Homer, Reading, and the farms and back roads in between. Twenty-five years is a long time to keep a small business going. The reason we have is simple enough: people come in for the gear and keep coming back because we tell them the truth and stand behind what we sell.
Tied to the seasons
There's a rhythm to a shop like this. Bow season rolls in, then deer firearms, then the ice, then spring fishing, then fur season and back around again. We stock for the calendar the way our neighbours actually live it.
